Buildbox announces new publishing company to help increase app discovery for customers.

Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) October 28, 2015

Next-generation game building software company, Buildbox, is launching a new subsidiary for its customers called Buildbox Publishing.

Buildbox publishing will focus on releasing the best Buildbox games being created by customers. Led by Aaron Feliciano, former CEO of Tasty Pill Games, each week Buildbox will release a new game to promote via its social media channels, subscriber list, internal cross promotions, industry connections and more.

Officially launching on Thursday, October 29th, the first game released is Darthy which has been greenlit on the PC game download service, Steam, and featured by game review sites AppSpy, Touch Arcade, and GameMob.

Earlier this week Touch Arcade also featured another Buildbox game, Almost Impossible, created by Realmac Software founder Dan Counsell. Both games will be launching Thursday to big fanfare.

“We’re very excited about this milestone for Buildbox,” explains Trey Smith, founder at Buildbox. “It’s been an amazing first year for us and we can’t wait to help our customers solve discovery, which has historically been the hardest part of growing a mobile game business”

Trey Smith has over 35,000,000 downloads in his personal game business and started Buildbox after seeing a growing need in the market for making games without coding.

Buildbox Publishing is launching after a strong start from the company. Though Buildbox is the newest entry to the game builder market, recently it has been the most successful. In 2015, their customers have had 16 Apple Features and 15 games break the Top 100. This is more than all other game builders combined.
