Kansas City, Missouri (PRWEB) October 21, 2015

PBI-Gordon Corporation will introduce new Avenue™ South Broadleaf Herbicide for Turfgrass at the Green Industry & Equipment Expo (GIE+Expo) in Louisville, Ky., October 21-23, 2015.

A proprietary formula, Avenue South combines four proven active ingredients to deliver rapid control of more than 90 listed broadleaf weeds in the South’s warm weather and sensitive southern grasses, including common and improved St. Augustine grasses such as Floratam and Bitterblue.

“There are more beautiful lawns and golf courses than ever in the South, thanks to improved turfgrass varieties, but they can be sensitive, especially when you need fast weed knock-down,” says Dave Loecke, herbicide product manager for PBI-Gordon. “New Avenue South gives turf pros in the South a powerful tool to kill tough broadleaf weeds fast, in a formulation that offers a high degree of turf safety. And the excitement of GIE+Expo makes it the perfect event for PBI-Gordon to introduce Avenue South to the industry.”

Information on Avenue South and the Gordon’s® Professional line will be available in GIE+Expo booth #1104 for the duration of the show.
