Pursuant, a full-service fundraising agency, announces its acquisition of ShareRewards, a company that creates merchant-funded fundraising programs for commercial and nonprofit organizations.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) October 27, 2015

Pursuant is pleased to announce the acquisition of ShareRewards, a Dallas-based company that creates merchant-funded fundraising programs for commercial and nonprofit organizations.

A full-service fundraising agency, Pursuant is dedicated to serving the world’s leading nonprofit organizations through intelligent fundraising. The acquisition was effective October 1, 2015.

ShareRewards makes it easy for donors to give by merging shopping and philanthropy into one process. The company has helped nonprofits like schools and churches raise money by partnering with online retailers to implement shopping rebate programs for donors. Supporters enroll at a custom website. When they shop online at participating retailers, a portion of their purchases (3% on average) are rebated to the organization. ShareRewards users are also able to track how much money they have generated for their favorite causes.

ShareRewards was founded by James E. Dunne III, who has decades of expertise in establishing corporate customer loyalty and acquisition programs for airlines and hotels. ShareRewards is already operational in 26 school districts across the nation. Pursuant plans to expand ShareReward’s offerings to its clients in every vertical of the nonprofit space.

“Pursuant is always looking for leading-edge solutions capable of generating new revenue streams for its clients,” said Pursuant CEO Trent Ricker. “We are excited to bring another unique, locally-founded solution under our umbrella.”

Though Pursuant and ShareRewards have their roots in the Dallas, they serve clients on a national scale. “We can’t wait to offer this service to our clients and the entire nonprofit industry,” said Ricker.

Dunne said, “During the last 4 years, we developed ShareRewards into a new generation fundraising platform with enormous potential for the entire nonprofit spectrum. Now, I am delighted to announce ShareRewards has a new home where its full potential can be realized.”

“Pursuant has single-roof expertise to fully deploy the ShareRewards model to all nonprofit organizations and to realize the good it can do. It can benefit organizations large and small, and help build a revenue platform for the continuance of their important work. We are excited for the future,” Dunne added.
