Leading Florida Health Plan Leverages Predictive Analytics to Assess Medication Adherence across Medicare Advantage Part D Population
Arlington, Va. (PRWEB) November 03, 2015
RxAnte, LLC, the leading platform for improving medication use and drug therapy outcomes through predictive analytics and targeted clinical programs, today announced that AvMed, a leading Florida health plan and J.D. Power 2014 Customer Champion, has partnered with RxAnte. RxAnte’s advanced analytics platform will deliver population-level reporting and member-level predictions to inform AvMed’s adherence and intervention strategy for medications used to treat chronic illnesses for the Medicare Advantage Part D population.
RxAnte uses pharmacy data to generate highly accurate predictions about future medication use, enabling AvMed to provide member-centered support programs, targeting outreach efforts to the patients who will benefit most. The provided predictive analytics will focus specifically on triple-weighted Star Ratings medication adherence measures including: adherence to blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes medication. Allowing AvMed to focus on patients most in need, RxAnte will provide both population level tracking and strategy reports as well as member-level prioritized target lists.
“AvMed is dedicated to promoting better health and improving medication adherence for our members is a significant objective,” said Ann O. Wehr, MD, Chief Medical Officer at AvMed. “Our partnership with RxAnte will help us to better inform our adherence and intervention strategy with valuable data, enabling targeted support for our members who need it most.”
“We are excited about the opportunity to help AvMed, its members, and its expansive network of Florida providers to work together toward better outcomes using better information,” said Dr. Josh Benner, Founder of RxAnte. “By targeting drug therapy management resources to the members who will benefit most, our tools can make a positive difference in clinical quality measures and drug therapy outcomes.”
