No. 1: Life insurance. “Life insurance replaces income for the family in the event of the policyholder’s demise,” said Underwood. “It can also pay off debt and pay for final expenses, while defraying the cost of a funeral, for example. Equally important, it provides peace of mind.”
No. 2: Long-term care insurance. This type of insurance protects the assets for which a person has worked hard, and prevents one from being a burden to their loved ones by helping them to maintain daily activities and be less dependant on family. It is also insurance that people should seriously consider purchasing now due to the fact that its price continues to rise.
No. 3: Long-term disability insurance. “This insurance is essential for replacing a portion of your income if you become disabled, and provides long-term income security, knowing that the insurance will be available for you and your family” said Underwood.
