Throughout the month of November, the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation will promote citizens serving in their communities
Midlothian, Texas (PRWEB) October 30, 2015
The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, dedicated to serving military and first responders through meaningful interactive experiences that enrich family relationships, today announced a month-long service campaign, #CKFFServes, encouraging Americans to serve in their communities at a local nonprofit organization.
“Veterans Day marks the 1-year anniversary of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation and a time for us to reflect on our mission and why we were founded—to honor my husband Chris Kyle’s legacy of service by serving the families of military and first responders,” said Taya Kyle, executive director, Chris Kyle Frog Foundation. “This November, I encourage all Americans to go out and give their time, skills and passions to a nonprofit organization of their choice. In return, we will share and celebrate these acts of service together.”
Since its founding on Veteran’s Day 2014, The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation has worked in service to honor God, Country and military and first responder families. The foundation’s signature program, Revitalization Retreats, represent a unique opportunity for military and first responder families to downshift from the intensity of mission-focused life of service and reconnect. Retreats range from quiet countryside weekends to rock star events. "The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation Revitalization Retreat was a life changing experience for us,” said Jamie and Justin Smith. “We were given the opportunity to be in the moment with no pressures of parenting, military, financial concerns, etc. We were simply Justin and Jaime, the two people who fell in love and somewhere along the way got lost in the chaos of life. This was no doubt a life changing experience…it changed the course of our marriage.”
In addition to the #CKFFServes campaign, the foundation will honor Veteran’s Day and celebrate its year anniversary through special merchandise. Global Monetary Reserve, the nation’s leading precious metals firm, has produced a limited release series of commemorative precious metal coins and bars that honor Kyle’s memory and his spirit of bravery and patriotism. The coins will be released, in collaboration with the foundation, on Veterans Day 2015. The foundation also is partnering with Bobby DeAngelo of Baton Rouge to offer American flags that are framed and signed on the back by Taya Kyle. All proceeds from these special commemorative flags will benefit Chris Kyle Frog Foundation programming.
