Buyer Beware - Your Ouija or Talking Board may not be authentic!

Center Hill, Florida (PRWEB) October 13, 2015

It has come to the attention of the Talking Board Historical Society that fake/reproduction Ouija and talking boards may have been misrepresented and sold as genuine antiques, perhaps as far back as 2012. The Talking Board Historical Society is also aware that there may be many people and collectors who bought these boards believing they purchased authentic antique and vintage talking boards. Those that have purchased a talking board believed to be a replica and falsely represented at online stores such as eBay, Etsy, Amazon, etc., are asked to contact and report the item to the respective online store.

The Talking Board Historical Society is working hard to identify questionable Ouija and other talking boards and to catalog any special characteristics of these replicas. Any talking board with a label that cites it was once part of the “Sybil Tanner” collection is particularly suspect to the Talking Board Historical Society. Federal, state, and local authorities have been notified of these concerns and The Talking Board Historical Society is happy to pass along any information on how to contact them if needed.

The Talking Board Historical Society is a registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.
