Truck City was well represented with one hundred years of diesel technician experience competing at the The Indiana Motor Truck Association Truck Driving and Technician Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Truck City, an Elite Support Certified Freightliner & Western Star dealer, sent four experienced and talented diesel technicians to compete in the Indiana Motor Truck Association Truck Driving and Technician Championships this past weekend in Indianapolis. Bob Dorrance, Greg Cherechinsky, Jason Ossanna and Chuck Ralston performed at 11 technician stations over the two day event held on June 11th & 12th at the Lincoln College of Technology. All four technicians have a combined experience of 100 years in diesel technology and a total of 55 years of employment at Truck City.

Chuck Ralston took top honors by placing first at the Brakes, HVAC, Volt/Ohm Meter and the Written test stations as well as second place at the Fasteners station. These outstanding performances by Chuck placed him at an impressive second place overall in the competition.

The Indiana Motor Truck Association Truck Driving and Technician Championships is an exhibition of skill, professionalism and safe handling and maintenance of a commercial motor vehicle under competitive conditions. The championships were developed to promote safety on the highways of our state and nation.
