New updates help users strengthen their security.
Anaheim, CA (PRWEB) November 04, 2015
Trumpia, the leading mobile messaging and cross-channel marketing automation software provider, today released two new updates that help users strengthen their security.
First, users can now restrict access to their accounts to IP addresses of their choosing. This means only certain Internet locations that the user designates can sign into their Trumpia account, greatly reducing the chance of stolen identity. If someone does try to log in from an unknown IP address, they will have to provide 2 factors of authentication. So not only will they need to enter the correct username and password, but also a special 1-time code that will get texted or emailed to the account owner’s phone.
Second, in an effort to protect users from identity fraud, Trumpia has decided to implement organization name auditing. So now, if a user wants to use their business's name or logo in their messages, they must first verify that they are indeed affiliated with that business. It’s a short but necessary process.
“With the recent rise in identity fraud and network hacks, we saw a need to bolster our security measures,” said Trumpia’s CEO, Ken Rhie. “These features will go a long way in protecting our users.”
