Suffolk video game enthusiasts will soon have another place to relive the classic titles of their past when Game On Smithtown opens Saturday. The new store specializes in retro favorites and memorabilia from the 1980s and ’90s

Game On, at 270 W. Main St., will have its grand opening on April 15. It is the second location for the independently owned business. Owner and founder Tristan Whitworth, 31, opened his flagship store on Route 25A in Miller Place two years ago after running an eBay business from home.

“I’m really excited to reach more people and show them what we’re all about,” said Whitworth. “There’s no blueprint for this so you just have to be creative and have fun.”

The Smithtown store, which measures 1,800-square-feet, will specialize in selling retro game titles for systems including the NES, Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. It will also feature classic arcade machines, comic books and collectibles.

The location was previously home to a deli.
