TD Bank and the NYPD are investigating a possible ATM skimming incident in Manhattan that affected TD Bank customers.

The Cherry Hill, New Jersey-based bank said in a statement that “it would be inappropriate to comment further as the investigation is ongoing.”

TD Bank said customers who believe money was stolen from their account should contact the bank. TD also said that depending on the dispute, it could take seven to ten business days for customers to receive credit for unauthorized transactions.

The bank didn’t say how many customers were impacted or how much money was stolen in total.

Separately, Southampton Town police said earlier this week they were investigating a skimming device that was attached to an ATM at a Bridgehampton National Bank branch.
