1976 -- Apple 1

The Apple I was the first product. It was designed and hand built by Steve Wozniak, who collaborated with Steve Jobs to create the Apple company. Unlike other computers of its day, which were sold as kits, the Apple I was a fully assembled circuit board containing about 30 chips. Users still needed to add a case, power supply, keyboard, and display to make it fully functional. The Apple I sold for $666.66. (Credit: Ed Uthman / Flickr)
