Clutch too much? Cell phone radiation worries
Photo credit: MCT | Cell phone users, especially those who clutch the phone to their heads, must become wary of the radiation it is emitting. Radiation has been linked to brain tumors and brain cancer, the Environmental Working Group says. The group suggests ear pieces and other tools that keep the phone away from the head.
An advocacy group is suggesting you check something else when shopping for a cell phone -- the level of radiation the device sends toward your noggin.
"You should pay attention to the amount of radiation that's being absorbed by your head," said Olga Naidenko of the Environmental Working Group. "There is a danger."
