Anthony Bourdain's CNN show 'Parts Unknown' to premiere in April
Anthony Bourdain might have just concluded his stint as a reality judge on “The Taste” last week, but he’ll be back on television soon enough. CNN has announced that his new travel show, “Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown,” will debut April 14 at 9 p.m. on the network.
Bourdain, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, concluded his popular Travel Channel series “No Reservations” last year. And, like “No Reservations,” his new hourlong series will take him around the world to showcase global cuisine.
“Parts Unknown” will follow Bourdain as he visits places “off the beaten path of tourist destinations” to explore their unique culinary traditions. The premiere episode will see him tour Myanmar (the country once known as Burma), and future episodes will take place in Libya, Columbia, Koreatown in Los Angeles, Peru and the Congo.
