Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo have concluded their presentations at E3 this year, and it's no surprise that the Wii U left the biggest impression.

The Wii U's impact at the Electronic Entertainment Expo began even before Nintendo took the stage Tuesday at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The final version of the Wii U controller was shown during a pre-E3 Nintendo broadcast highlighting comfort and universal function with your television's cable box.

Social networking was a recurring theme during each presentation at E3. Microsoft introduced Xbox SmartGlass, which combes users' tablets and smartphones with Xbox Live and gaming. Sony touched on those possibilities with PlayStation Mobile, but Nintendo's presentations responded with "Anything you can do, I can do better."

The introduction to MiiUniverse opens the gates for a large-scale Nintendo gaming group hug from players near and far. Whether it is a video conversation with a friend or a shout out to the gaming community for help on a tough-to-beat level, it is all accomplished within the social capabilities on Wii U and its touch-screen controller.

Add the ability to play games from the controller's screen, and Nintendo is walking away from E3 with gamers blindly throwing their money at them despite any announcement of its price tag. Nintendo has done it again, and even better than before.
