Apple is set to announce full details of their next-Gen iPad on Wednesday. Here are the latest rumors from the blogosphere:

HD screen

Apple is expected to up the iPad’s resolution to 2,048 x 1,536, double that of the iPad 2. If true, look for a nice quality jump in photo viewing, e-book reading, movie watching, and game playing.

Upgraded camera

The front camera is said to be bumped up to HD quality, improving FaceTime and Skype video chats. The rear camera could also come closer to mirroring the iPhone 4s specs (5 megapixels, 720 video at 30 frames per second).

Faster processor

The third generation iPad might feature the powerful A6 quad-core chip. If the iPad goes HD, it looks like it will need the chip, but it could also put a serious hamper on battery life -- something the company has refused to compromise on.

4G Data

This could be the first 4G-capable gadget from Apple. With Verizon and AT&T investing heavily on the mobile broadband tech, they could be pressuring Apple to include it in its lineup sooner rather than later.

Siri

Whether the iPhone 4's Siri is a novelty remains to be seen, but look for the personal assistant software to make its way into all of Apple’s devices.

Price

Apple will most likely continue to follow its current pricing scale, with the least expensive iPad 3 (16 GB) coming in at $499. But there are rumors that the iPad 2 will continue to be manufactured and sold at a decent discount.

Amazon’s popular Kindle Fire seems to hit the pricing spot at $199. While we don’t see the iPad 2 going that low, a $299 Apple-made tablet could put serious hurt on the lower-end Android tablets, Kindle Fire, Nook, and other e-readers.

But enough rumors! The official announcement is set to take place Wednesday at 1 p.m. New York time. Check back here for details.
