'Call of Duty: Black Ops 2' launches

The official "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" live action trailer, directed by Guy Ritchie, takes you into the high-speed world of near-future weaponry. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is now available.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is in stores now and Activision is already sweetening the deal on the game's optional 'DLC Season Pass'.

A Nuketown Zombies bonus map will be included with the digital download of the 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC Season Pass,' according to the game's publisher and Treyarch.  This map was only available with purchasing either the Hardened or Collectors Editions.  It was nice to hear that the exclusive will not cost gamers extra and that they will be able to join their friends who paid more for the special editions during the global midnight launch.

Meanwhile, the release of the game has caused a frenzy, generating lines outside electronic stores across the country, according to various news outlets, as gamers wait to be the first to get their hands on the game. Further, the game was the top trending search on Google the morning of its launch and about one quarter of readers polled by video game news and review site IGN said they plan to skip work or school Nov. 13 to play the game.

Want to make sure the game is worth the $59 price tag before committing to buying it?

Stay tuned. Warp Pipe will be sharing its thoughts on all things Black Ops 2, zombies and gadgets that go boom in the days to come.
