WEST POINT - Hundreds of civilian employees at West Point are back on the job today.
Furloughed civilian employees came back to work this morning. The furloughs were taking a toll on academics as uniformed officers tried to fill, sometimes in areas where they didn't have the expertise.
All of the 800,000 federal workers furloughed will likely get back pay. The House voted unanimously to give them missed pay once the government shutdown ends.
The Senate is also expected to OK the bill.
