"This is a great time to buy a home. There is a huge inventory in housing, interest rates are low, and sellers are motivated. Two years ago it was the reverse, but today sellers are willing to negotiate. Buyers should focus on the value to be had by negotiating. ... You can sometimes get a house for 10 [percent] to 30 percent below market value."
