Bugatti's 16C Galibier concept: World's fastest 'sedan'
In June, we here at Car Nation were lucky enough to spend a day in the world's fastest and most expensive car, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport. The question for the niche automaker is where the heck do you go from a $2M sports car than can reach speeds of 254 mph?
The answer is the Bugatti's 16C Galibier, an ultra sport luxury sedan.
The Galibier is fitted with the Veyron's W16 engine turned around and put under the hood, complimented with two-stage superchargers (instead of the Veyron's four turbochargers). The "sedan" will have a top speed of 240 mph, which would easily establish the Galibier as the fastest four-door car in the world.
No word yet on price or when/if production will take place.
