Volkswagen of America is recalling 71,000 2011 Jettas in order to fix an electrical issue that could cause the car to stall when the horn is used.

There have been reports that when the Jetta's horn is activated, it has caused a short circuit that would, in turn, cause an electronic part called a converter box to disconnect from the car's power supply, a VW spokeswoman said.

The recall affects sixth-generation Jetta sedans built between March 2010 and March 2011.

No injuries or accidents have been reported. Owners will receive notification by mail.

Customers with questions or concerns should contact Volkswagen Customer Care at 1-800-822-8987, the automaker said.
