Recalled Toyota models
Here are the 10 Toyota models that will not be sold in the United States, until a faulty gas pedal is fixed. They include, the 2009 to 2010 RAV4, 2007-2010 Camry, 2009-2010 Corolla, the 2005-2010 Avalon, 2009-2010 Matrix, 2008-2010 Highlander, 2007-2010 Tundra and the 2008-2010 Sequoia. Japan's Toyota Motor Corp. announced late Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 that it would halt sales of some of its top-selling models, including the 2008-2010 Toyota Highlander, to fix gas pedals that could stick and cause unintended acceleration. Last week, Toyota issued a recall for the same eight models affecting 2.3 million vehicles.
The 2010 Camry will not be sold until problems with a faulty gas pedal are resolved. The Camry models affected by the problem were built between 2007 and 2010. The recall involves 3.2 million vehicles. (January 2010)
