Joshua Yedvab has been named vice president of physician alignment strategies at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside. Among other responsibilities in this position, he will be involved in physician recruitment and the building of joint venture partnerships. The Roslyn resident was most recently executive director for ambulatory care at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in Manhasset.

UBM Electronics in Manhasset announced two promotions.

Junko Yoshida has been promoted to chief international correspondent for EE Times. The Brooklyn resident was promoted from editor-in-chief of EE Times and, an electronic engineering website and publication.

Patrick Mannion has been promoted to brand director, EDN, another of UBM's electronic engineering websites and publications. He was promoted from director of content, EDN and UBM Electronics is a Manhasset-based provider of websites and publications containing business and technical information for the design engineering and electronics industry.
