PHARMACEUTICALS

Bridget Garcia has been promoted to operations supervisor at PL Developments, a Westbury-based supplier of over-the-counter health remedies. The Queens resident previously served as operations administrator.

FINANCE

Denise Chardavoyne joins Suffolk County National Bank in Riverhead as senior vice president and chief information officer. The Smithtown resident previously served as senior vice president and director of deployment at Citibank in Long Island City.

Community Development Corp. of Long Island, in Centereach, has announced a promotion and a new hire.

Joan LaFemina has been promoted to director of homeownership services. The Holbrook resident previously served as program manager.

Deborah Carioto joins as vice president of marketing and development. The Setauket resident most recently served as executive director the Long Island Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Melville.

The Briarcliffe College board of trustees has announced the following board appointments.

Arthur L. Loeffler has been reappointed chairman. The Commack resident is managing partner at Loeffler & Co. in Northport.

Robert A. Carpentier has been reappointed vice chairman. The Port Washington resident is of counsel at Albanese & Albanese in Garden City.

James Fleming has been appointed secretary. The Dix Hills resident is director of sales for World Class Abstract in Melville.

New members on the board are Lorraine Aycock, Drew Pallas and Gary F. Roth.  Aycock, of Jericho, is vice president and market manager at Bank of America in Melville. Pallas, of Dix Hills, is executive vice president and chief administrative officer at St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage. Roth, of Bellmore, is president and chief executive of East Meadow Management Group in Westbury.

Lawrence M. Kenney has been named partner at Islandia law firm Tsunis Gasparis Lustig Ring & Kenney. The Nissequogue resident previously served as counsel at the firm.

Alison Mercado has been promoted to office manager/administrator at Bohemia law firm Roe Taroff Taitz & Portman. The Holbrook resident was previously collections administrator at the firm.

Adam Weiss has been named partner at Fugazy & Rooney law firm in Glen Cove. The Sea Cliff resident most recently served as senior associate at Milman Labuda Law Group in Lake Success.
