Daniel Rosenstein has joined J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Melville as senior banker and managing director. The Roslyn resident previously was head of banking and cash management products at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management in Manhattan.

REAL ESTATE

Lauren Rachel Flanagan has been promoted to director of marketing and public relations at T. Weiss Realty Corp. in Melville. The Rockville Centre resident was a marketing representative.

BOARDS/ASSOCIATIONS

Jeffrey S. Schwartz has been installed as chancellor by the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, International. The Plainview resident is founder and president of the Law Offices of Jeffrey S. Schwartz in Woodbury and San Diego.

Steven Tremaroli was elected director of Lions Clubs International for a two-year term. The Huntington resident is a retired chiropractor and has been a member of the Melville Lions Club since 1981.

EDUCATION

Lou Reinisch as been appointed dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Farmingdale State College. The Islip resident previously was head of the department of physical and earth sciences at Jacksonville State University in Alabama.

LAW

Desiree M. Gargano has joined Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman in East Meadow as an associate in the litigation practice group. The Melville resident previously was an intern at the firm and is a graduate of Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.

Geoffrey R. Kaiser has joined Rivkin Radler in Uniondale as counsel in the health services practice group. The Muttontown resident is in private practice in Uniondale, and worked at the U.S. Attorney's Offices for the eastern and southern districts of New York.

Michele A. Pincus has joined the firm of Sahn Ward Coschignano & Baker as partner, concentrating her practice in the areas of real estate, zoning, land use, commercial litigation, employment law and municipal law. The Commack resident was associate general counsel for the Long Island Power Authority in Uniondale.

NONPROFIT

The Safe Center LI in Bethpage has announced two new additions to its team.

Jerry Algozer joins as associate director of development. The Port Washington resident was vice president of marketing and development at Broward House in Fort Lauderdale.

Thomas Neuschul joins as group work coordinator at the Coalition Against Child Abuse and Neglect. At The Safe Center LI, he will work on abuse support program Project Kidz Talk. The Glen Cove resident was an intern at Long Island GLBT Services Network in Bay Shore.
