Dr. Lawrence Crafa of Smithtown has been named president of the medical staff at North Shore-LIJ Plainview Hospital. He specializes in family medicine, has been on the medical staff since 2003 and previously served as president-elect.

Dr. Eric Sigler of West Islip has joined Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island as an associate specializing in medical and surgical diseases of the retina. He will work in the Rockville Centre, Plainview and Mineola offices.
