BOARDS/ASSOCIATIONS

Angelo Grande has been installed as the Nassau County American Legion commander. The veteran is a retired schoolteacher and served as commander of the Glenwood Landing American Legion Post No. 336 and most recently adjutant of Nassau County American Legion. He lives in Bayville and Glen Head.

Siobhan Murphy has been appointed to the board of directors of The Bridges Academy, a not-for-profit offering preschool through eighth grade in West Islip. The Bay Shore resident is president of The Quest Connection, an executive coaching, facilitation and training company based in Bay Shore.

Benjamin Weinstock, of Cedarhurst, has been elected chair of the real property law section of the New York State Bar Association. He is a partner at Uniondale law firm Ruskin, Moscou, Faltischek, co-chair of the firm's real estate practice group and serves as the Village of Cedarhurst deputy mayor.

Katy Anastasio joins the Northport office as an associate broker. The Fort Salonga resident was principal of Anastasio Associates in Northport.

Judy Edge joins the Northport office as manager and associate broker. The Fort Salonga resident held a similar position at Coach Realtors in Dix Hills.

Laurell Frein joins the Huntington office as manager and associate broker. The Huntington resident was an associate broker at Coach Realtors in Dix Hills.

Rob Brinkmann has been promoted to director, studio and production planning, for the YES Network in Stamford, Conn. The Farmingdale resident was manager of production planning.

NONPROFITS

HEALTH CARE

Carrie Bhada has joined Huntington Hospital as vice president of development. The Setauket resident was senior director of development at Stony Brook University Medical Center.

Robert O. Mayer has been appointed chief financial officer of The Farber Center, a radiation oncology center in Manhattan. The Plainview resident will perform this new role and maintain his position as managing partner of Mayer Meinberg in Manhattan and Syosset.

Kathleen McDonald has joined Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip as director of perioperative services. The Islip resident is a registered nurse and was corporate director of clinical resources at Catholic Health Services in Rockville Centre.

CONSTRUCTION

Michael Finnerty has been promoted to project manager at Stalco Construction, a general contracting and construction management firm. The Manorville resident was promoted from assistant project manager and will work at the headquarters in Islandia.
