Judith Margolis, of Westhampton Beach, has been named principal consultant for The Not-For-Profit Shop, a fundraising and management consulting firm specializing in nonprofit organizations. She previously served as executive director of Family Counseling Services in Westhampton Beach.
Jeffrey Citron, of Garden City, has been made a named partner in the firm Davidoff Malito & Hutcher, which is in the process of changing its name to Davidoff Hutcher & Citron. He has been co-managing partner of the firm for four years, and is also chair of the firm's real estate group.
Toni Ann Garofalo, of Huntington Station, has joined Bender Insurance Agency in Woodbury as a personal lines manager. She previously worked as personal lines manager at The Halland Companies in Plainview.

Rhonda L. Maco, of Baldwin, has been installed as the corresponding secretary for the Nassau County Women's Bar Association in Garden City. She is founder of the Law Offices of Rhonda L. Maco, also in Garden City, where her practice includes business formation, real estate, corporate transactions, trademark/copyright, employment law, personal injury and mediation.
Robert M. Harper, of Garden City, has been elected as an officer of the Suffolk Academy of Law. He is a trusts and estates associate at Farrell Fritz in Uniondale. Harper also serves as co-chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association's member services and activities committee and is vice chair of the New York State Bar Association's trusts & estates law section's governmental relations and legislation committee.
Paul J. Connor III has been named chairman of the board of directors of the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council, which represents 24 not-for-profit and public hospitals on Long Island. The Mattituck resident is president and chief executive of Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport. He is vice chairman of the Peconic Landing board of trustees and is a board member of the East End Health Alliance, the parent organization of Long Island's three East End hospitals.
Tim Kovel has joined BDO USA in Melville as senior director. BDO USA is a professional services firm that provides assurance, tax and financial advisory and consulting. The Old Bethpage resident previously served as senior tax manager at Ernst & Young in Jericho.
Suffolk County National Bank has announced two appointments to its lending staff.
Thomas B. Ford, of Bellport, has been named vice president of commercial lending, working out of the bank's Bohemia office. He most recently served as senior vice president for business banking at Capital One Bank.
Robert C. Larson, of Farmingville, is vice president of small business lending. He most recently served as vice president and chief lending officer of the CDC of Long Island, an organization that assists Long Islanders with rental assistance, affordable housing and small business lending programs.
