Christopher S. Jorgensen has been elected to the board of directors of Islandia-based Contractors for Kids, a charity that assists children and their families in overcoming sickness, injury or death. The Smithtown resident is the president of CS Jorgensen and Co., a financial planning firm in Smithtown.

Marcie Siciliano has joined Mineola-based Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence as assessment, referral and education specialist and the coordinator of the anger-management program. The Valley Stream resident is a recent graduate of Hofstra University.
