Sean Hunt has been promoted to tax director of PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Melville office. The Massapequa resident was previously a senior tax manager.

Lynda Baker Realty has announced two new hires. Mario Urrutia, of Commack, has joined the Dix Hills office in Huntington Station as the sales manager. He was previously a licensed associate broker at Charles Rutenberg Realty in Plainview. Demetrios Zias, of Bethpage, has joined the Hicksville office as a licensed real estate broker. He previously held a similar position at Patricia Slevin Realty in Bethpage.

Marty Nyear has joined Stephen Joseph Properties in Wantagh as a real estate salesman. The Massapequa Park resident previously held a similar position at Century 21 American Homes in Wantagh.

Norma Reynolds Sotheby's International Realty in Westhampton Beach has announced the hiring of three new sales associates to its team. Rose Alfano, of Westhampton, previously worked as a sales associate at First Hampton International Realty in Westhampton Beach. Eileen Brod, of Westhampton Beach, was vice president of sales, also at First Hampton International Realty in Westhampton Beach. Elyse Weissman was previously a sales associate at Brown Harris Stevens Realty in Westhampton Beach, where she also lives.

Kevin Law has been named to the  board of directors for the American Red Cross on Long Island. The St. James resident is president and chief executive of the Long Island Association.

Patrick McCormick has been elected to the board of directors of Developmental Disabilities Institute in Smithtown. The Kings Park resident is a partner at Bohemia law firm Campolo, Middleton & McCormick.

MARKETING

Roger J. Drake has joined Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill of Orlando, Fla., as senior vice president of marketing. The Garden City resident was previously senior vice president of marketing, corporate communications and sales for Chicago-based Morton's Restaurant Group.

LAW

Farrell Fritz in Uniondale has announced the hiring of two first-year associates at the firm. Jeremy Corapi, of Manhattan, concentrates on litigation and real estate law and was a summer associate at the firm. He recently got his law degree at Fordham University School of Law. Bernadette DiPrisco, of Garden City, who concentrates on corporate and tax law, was also a summer associate at the firm. She recently earned her law degree at Georgetown University Law Center.

Faith Getz Rousso has opened a private practice concentrating on adoption law in Mineola. The Roslyn resident was previously an attorney at the Law Office of Aaron Britvan in Woodbury.
