The Press Club of Long Island announces two new members have joined the board of directors.

Sandra Mardenfeld, of Oceanside, is assistant professor in the media arts department and director of the journalism program at LIU Post in Brookville.

David Reich-Hale, of Deer Park, is an associate editorial director at Patch.com and works remotely from Deer Park overseeing Long Island and Manhattan editorial operations.

LAW

Jennifer C. Groh has been named director of the Nassau Academy of Law, the education arm of the Nassau County Bar Association, in Mineola. The North Babylon resident was an outreach crisis counselor for Project Hope Hurricane Sandy and worked in the field of multiple communities throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Victor Brown has joined Newsday Media Group in Melville as director of Newsday Connect. The Brooklyn resident was previously director of sales for American Lawyer Media in Manhattan. Newsday Connect offers digital marketing services and strategies to Long Island's small-to-medium sized businesses.
