Yves Michel has joined the board of directors for the Health and Welfare Council of Long Island. He is the deputy director for the Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency in Farmingville and lives in Port Jefferson Village.
Miriam Tanenbaum has joined Capital One Bank as market executive, head of Long Island and Queens middle market commercial banking, and will be based in Melville. The Great Neck resident previously worked at JPMorgan Chase as senior vice president and division manager for commercial middle market banking business on Long Island and Queens.
Evan R. Schieber, of Port Washington, joins Rivkin Radler in Uniondale as partner in the firm's litigation and appeals practice. He previously worked as a litigation attorney at Starr Associates in Manhattan.
Wendy L. Goldstein has joined the Lorraine Gregory Corp. in Farmingdale to lead development of a full-service public relations and marketing division. The Lynbrook resident formerly served as director of public relations, marketing and advertising at Winthrop-University Hospital.
