The Long Island chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council in Hauppauge has announced its executive committee for 2013.

Sammy Chu is chairman. The Babylon resident is commissioner of the Suffolk County Department of Labor.

Victor DaCosta, of Malverne, is vice chairman. He is a partner at Alternative Solutions of New York.

Tammy Cunha is treasurer. The Oakdale resident is project manager of P.W. Grosser Consulting in Bohemia.

Nate Green is secretary. The Old Bethpage resident is sales manager at Humanscale in Manhattan.

LAW

Edward Pichardo has been named of counsel at Meyer, Suozzi, English and Klein in Manhattan and will represent public- and private- sector clients in legislative, regulatory and public contracting matters. The Bronx resident previously served as senior attorney with Transport Workers Union, Local 100.
