    First Long Island Investors, a wealth management firm in Jericho, has announced two promotions. Philip W. Malakoff of Great Neck and Edward C. Palleschi of East Rockaway were both promoted from vice president to senior vice president, wealth management. Both executives serve on FLII's Investment Committee.

    First National Bank of New York in Melville has named two new executives. Brian A. Foster has been named senior vice president and chief credit officer. The St. James resident previously was regional credit manager at Sovereign Bank, where he was responsible for the Long Island middle market team and the New York business banking team. Barry M. Kopleff has been named vice president. The Katonah resident previously was vice president in Citibank's business banking division, located in Long Island City.

    Dr. George Raptis has joined the North Shore-LIJ Health System's Cancer Institute as vice president of the oncology network. Raptis also serves as associate chief of oncology and full-time attending physician in the department of medicine's division of hematology-oncology at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. The Queens resident previously served as director of Dubin Breast Center at The Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, and associate attending physician in the department of medicine's division of hematology and oncology.

    REAL ESTATE

    Gloria Poulmentis has been promoted to director of human resources at Tritec Real Estate Co. in East Setauket. The Sag Harbor resident previously served as manager of human resources and office operations.
