Tammy Leisen has been appointed senior vice president of government banking on Long Island for Capital One Bank. The Smithtown resident most recently served as senior vice president at Wells Fargo Bank. She is a member of Government Finance Officers Association, the Nassau and Suffolk Association of School Business Officials, and the New York State Association of School Business Officials.


Paul R. Varriale has joined Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles in Melville as senior counsel in the litigation department. The Mount Sinai resident was a founding partner at Belil & Varriale in Hauppauge.

Alan J. Waintraub has joined as an associate to manage the foreclosure litigation department. The Monsey resident previously worked at Cullen & Dykman's Manhattan office as an associate in its litigated foreclosure department.

Kamini Fox has been brought on as an associate focusing on reorganizations under Chapters 11 and 13 and liquidations under Chapter 7. The Rockville Centre resident previously worked at Ackerman Spence in Jericho.
