This colorful 1922 Victorian-style Hewlett home, on the market for $999,000, embraces the feel of the era both inside and out.

Many of the features, including wood-burning fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom and a “servant” stairway off the kitchen, are original to the home, the owner says. Some features were either enhanced or renovated with Victorian flair.

The back of the wraparound porch was expanded and transformed into an enclosed gazebo-style sunroom with glass ceiling and walls. It opens up to the eat-in kitchen, where the homeowner added a gas fireplace. Plaster ceilings were replaced with pressed tin in several of the main rooms.

The house also boasts a two-bedroom guest wing with a full bathroom and private entrance. There are six bedrooms and four bathrooms and a half-bath in the main section.

Other features include an in-ground pool, brick patio, deck and a detached two-car garage.
