Homes with wraparound porches gained popularity in the 19th century. No matter how the style may have been tweaked over time, these porches always manage to exude warmth and charm. "A porch is a very inviting feature," says Karen Sharf of Hunt Ashley Group, who is marketing the Sea Cliff Victorian on these pages. The homeowner says, "It's why I bought the house. When I saw this porch, I couldn't believe my eyes. It's my outdoor living room."

Vintage Victorian-style homes often feature a partial or full-width front porch. True to its era, this distinctive 1883 oldie has a wide front porch that wraps to the side. It is accessible from the front steps and the backyard.
