The actress lived at the house when she attended Cold Spring Harbor High School, says listing agent John Messina, who explained that her parents, Dina and Michael, rented the home. Public records confirm that.

"It was great -- it was wonderful," says Michael Lohan, who says the family lived there from 1998 to 2001. He says he leased the house with an option to buy.

The sellers have updated the 1978 house with new windows, a new kitchen and new bathrooms, Messina says. The home has a dramatic three-story entrance with windows that span all three floors overlooking the 270-acre Stillwell Woods preserve. From inside the house, "you feel like you're in the forest," says Messina. Continuing the theme, some of the ceilings feature exposed Pecky Cypress, he says.

Dina Lohan now lives in North Merrick with sons, Michael and Dakota, and daughter, Ali. Michael Lohan lives in Southampton, but says he is in the process of buying a home in Atlanta.

Lindsay Lohan lives in Los Angeles but "wants to" move back to New York, says her father.
