An equestrian farm with a house on the property is on the market for $995,000 in Mattituck.

The property used to be an equestrian facility and still has a nine-stall barn as well as various buildings suitable for everything to do with cleaning and caring for horses, says Thomas Uhlinger of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the listing agent.

The property also has a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house that was built in 1921 and still has many of its original features.

"It's been renovated, but it still has the Old World charm," Uhlinger said.

The home underwent a renovation in the 1990s, and the kitchen was renovated, but they kept the nonworking original wood-burning kitchen stove for decoration. The bathrooms also have their original subway tiles and moldings, and the glass interior doors and hardwood floors throughout the home are also original, Uhlinger said.

The property still has its original, old (nonworking) windmill, too.

The farm is on 8.5 acres, some of which is on different elevations.
