So the identity of a waterfront property for sale on the North Fork will be revealed Friday by Nick Planamento of Town & Country Real Estate, and you won’t be using the front door of the home when you get there.

Planamento says to be at Captain Bob’s Fishing Station at the Old Mill Inn in Mattituck at 11:20 a.m. when guests will be transported on a 26-foot center-console boat to the deep-water dock of his latest listing. The boat will depart every 20 minutes until 1:40 p.m. (reserve an hour of your time, and wear sneakers or boat shoes).

While it’s intended to be an agents’ "mystery open house," Planamento says he “never turns down an opportunity to talk to an interested party.” In addition to the boat ride and house tour, a wine tasting and lunch will be provided at the house -- which is where this photo was taken.

The home is a raised ranch with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths built in 1975 with a perpetual motion indoor heated 6-foot-by-15-foot pool and multi-tiered gardens and decks.

The home is co-listed with Joan Bischoff of Town & Country. It is listed at $1,195,000, with taxes of $9,844.

Stop by this blog Friday after noon to see pictures of the property.
