The Amagansett home owned by sports industry executive Chris Bevilacqua has sold for $3.35 million, according to the Long Island Real Estate Report.

The five-bedroom, 6.5-bath cedar shingled house had been listed for $3.695 million. The price was recently reduced to $3.495 million for the 7,000-square-foot home, which comes with a heated gunite pool and a patio with a built-in barbecue as well as three fireplaces, first- and second-floor master bedrooms and a two-car garage.

The 2.5-acre property is “in the heart of celebrityville,” says Carol Nobbs of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, listed the property. The Corcoran Group's Gary DePersia represented the buyer, Rosenberg Realties LLC. Corcoran's Bryan Midlam also was involved in the deal, Nobbs says.

Famous neighbors include Paul McCartney, Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, and Alec Baldwin. Bevilacqua was the best man at actor Billy Baldwin’s 2005 wedding. Bevilacqua's father, Al, was the inspiration for the character of "Mr. Bevilacqua" on "Seinfeld." Seinfeld had Bevilacqua as a teacher at Massapequa High school.

Chris Bevilacqua is chief executive and chairman of CAA Sports Media Ventures. He was the co-founder of CSTV Networks. He is from Massapequa.
