The Oyster Bay Cove estate that once belonged to aviation pioneer James T. Pyle is on the market for $1.99 million.

The former carriage house has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a library, a living room, a maid’s room, a dining room, two fireplaces and the original front door. The 2.1-acre property includes two fountains, a brick patio, a cobblestone courtyard, flagstone walkways and a brick pillared entrance. The property also has beach rights.

Pyle lived at the house with wife, Ann, for about 50 years.
