A Shelter Island house built by Shane Patrick, who designed the legendary Lower East Side bar, Barramundi, is on the market for $1.375 million.

Built in 2010, the 3,200-square-foot home is near Sunset Beach, the Pridwin Hotel and the Perlman Music Camp. There are three bedrooms and three baths.

On the market since June 4, the home is a handcrafted Scandinavian-style farmhouse, complete with a summer guest cottage and barn. It sits on 1.5 acres and was built using environmentally efficient amenities. There are 200-year-old reclaimed heart pine floors throughout the main level. The living room leads to a Finnish-slatted-style veranda, and the kitchen is finished with lacquer style cabinets, jade caesarstone counters and penny-tile.

“The property was once an old B&B called 'The Forest Lodge,' which is why it has the grandfathered cottage and barn,” says listing agent Penelope Moore of The Corcoran Group.

Stuart Parr, a producer for rapper Eminem, is a neighbor in the area, says Moore.

The 600-square-foot guest cottage has two bedrooms, one bath and a full kitchen.

Is the house anything like Barramundi? “It most resembles it in its well thought out eclecticism,” says Moore. Patrick and his wife, Ania Chowaniac, “have a keen eye for detail and textures,” she adds.

If the property isn’t large enough for you, there is adjacent acreage available for sale.
