Designer Jamie Drake sells East Hampton home for $2.75 million

Designer Jamie Drake, who once decorated Madonna's Los Angeles spread, knows how to outfit a home, and also how to price it right.
Drake closed last week on the sale of his East Hampton home, shown here, which had only been on the market for about four weeks when it went into contract, says Noel Berk of Mercedes/Berk real estate. “When a person is motivated to sell and sets the price according to the current real estate market, it’s not a prolonged process.
Drake had priced his 3.3-acre property at $2.9 million. The final selling price was $2.75 million, says Berk. The 6,200-square-foot home has five bedrooms, six full and two half-baths and two fireplaces, and a 40-foot pool.
