Michael Jackson Pepsi ad exec's North Haven home now $25 million
The asking price for the North Haven home that belonged to the ad executive who did the Michael Jackson Pepsi commercial is now $25 million.
The late Philip Dusenberry’s home had been on the market for $18 million, with a separate $7 million vacant parcel of land that would become available if it was not sold with the house. That 5.1-acre lot is now part of the sale. The property is listed as 11 acres.
This is not the highest priced house in the Sag Harbor enclave. The 55-acre harborfront Tyndal Point, which has three houses, is on the market for $49.9 million. Then there's a compound on a pond with two waterfront homes for $29.5 million.
Dusenberry, who died in 2007 of lung cancer, owned the house with his wife, Susan. He wrote the 2006 autobiography “Then We Set His Hair on Fire,” a reference to the TV ad Dusenberry oversaw in which Jackson was hurt in a pyrotechnic mishap.
Architect Peter Cook, ex-husband of former supermodel Christie Brinkley, designed the 6,800-square-foot, five-bedroom, 6.5-bath waterfront house.
