Open House Watch: Tour 20 Long Beach homes

Long Beach. Why? There are a whopping 20 open houses planned (compare that to six in Wantagh and two in Woodbury).
"Many people like to make a day of it, especially if it's nice outside," says Renee Weinberg, a listing agent at Petrey East Realty who'll be holding her own open houses. In between stops, potential home buyers walk along the boardwalk, stroll the beach, eat lunch, window shop and grab a drink, she says.
Some of the pickings include a beachfront two-bedroom, two-bath studio apartment in the Waters Edge complex for $199,000, a three-bedroom, one-bath newly renovated ranch for $409,000 a three-bedroom, two-bath condo in the White Sands luxury development with doorman service for $1.195 million.
