Rich Cribs: Builder re-lists Centerport home he sold in 2001
Anthony Porco owned his five-bedroom, 4½-bathroom Mediterranean-style home in Centerport during two periods in 11 years — with a 10-year break. He built the house in 2000, sold it in 2001 and bought it back in 2011.
It’s now on the market again, priced at $1,599,950.
On the second ownership, he started over, gutting and renovating the three-story home. There are two master suites, radiant-heat flooring in the kitchen, den and bathrooms, terraced waterfalls, a koi pond and multiple decks.
The lower level features a wall of windows overlooking Centerport Harbor. The kitchen and dining room have walkouts to multilevel decks. The two master bedroom suites are on the second floor, and one has a stairway to a loft and turret, which Porco calls the crow’s nest, adding, “You can see Connecticut.”
Douglas Elliman’s Maureen Polye is co-listing the property with Warren Amendola of Coach Realtors.
