GRAND DETAILS. In the early 20th century, architect Harrie Thomas Lindeberg was known for designing sophisticated, yet livable, country estates, including this one in Glen Cove.

Dykman, the house includes several elegant details, including a grand entryway with a winding staircase paired with a curved, leaded-glass window at the top. “The detail of the house is very special,” said listing agent Kevin Daigh of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate. “In the front, you’ll see a curved window that shines on the staircase.”

Listed for $2.695 million, the home has seven bedrooms, a few with fireplaces, and 7.5 bathrooms. A two-bedroom garage apartment comes with a separate entrance.
