A Cutchogue property, recently listed for $2.8 million, comes with not one but two residences: a beachfront house and a guest cottage.

Both homes started out as summer cottages, circa 1930-1940. The original waterfront structure was demolished in 2007, says listing agent Mary Kate DiGregorio of The Corcoran Group.

It was rebuilt into a two-story home designed by Samuels & Steelman Architecture, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms and one half-bathroom. An open floor plan on the main level has a living room with a fireplace, eat-in kitchen and den. Just outside is a beachside patio.

“The master bedroom and living room have endless views of Cutchogue Harbor, overlooking Robins Island and Nassau Point,” says DiGregorio. “It’s absolutely spectacular.”

A second fireplace is in the master bedroom upstairs. There are hardwood floors and luxe moldings throughout the home.

The guesthouse, set back on the half acre professionally landscaped lot, was renovated in 1999 and has one bedroom, one bathroom and one-half bathroom. It also features a living room, sitting room, dining room, eat-in kitchen plus an attached two-car garage.
