Too Many Maples has a new owner. The Water Mill farmhouse owned by Richard Gere and his wife, Carey Lowell, through their Tushita Trust recently sold for $5.9 million, according to the Long Island Real Estate Report. The buyers are listing in property records as Susan Boland and Kelly Granat.
Gere, who now stars in "Hachiko: A Dog's Story," had last lowered the price to $7.2 million. The 5,500-square-foot, seven-bedroom home went on the market this year for $8.8 million.
Linda Haugevik of Saunders Associates was the listing agent.
